From first love to rival bids…

To forever?

Newly retired pro quarterback Josh Golden returns to Ruby Canyon, Wyoming, to open a kids’ football camp. Except Erin Perkins, his high school sweetheart, is bidding on the same property—the Triangle W ranch. Erin manages the Triangle W and wants to keep it as a working ranch for military veterans like herself as they adjust to leaving the service. Josh hasn’t seen Erin in fourteen years, but he’s thought about her. A lot. Even in spite of their land dispute, she still charms and challenges him. As the ranch’s fate divides the town, Josh finds himself facing the biggest decision of his life—fulfill a longheld career dream or rekindle a love sweeter than any 99-yard touchdown?

EXCERPT:

     “This is a ranching town.”
“I’m proof there’s room for ranching and football. I was raised here and football’s a part of me.” Josh pleaded his case, and something about his sincerity led to a crushing revelation.
Their dreams impacted an entire town. Not only would his football camp take away this ranch and her makeshift family, it would also change the complexion of Ruby Canyon forever.
Erin glanced at her watch and her eyes widened in surprise at how fast the afternoon was slipping away. “The calf will need to be fed soon. We’d best get back.”
“What about the peanut butter pie?” Josh’s charming smile showed off that irresistible dimple that had won over many fans of opposing teams. “The slices are still in the saddlebags.”
As much as she’d love to share a slice of pie with Josh, it was best that this picnic, and whatever feelings she had for him, come to an end.
